My partner and I recently had dinner at Marcel to celebrate my birthday. We were both very impressed with the food and service. The hotel and restaurant are stylishly designed, creating a warm atmosphere. The only thing I’d change would be the closeness of the tables. Our food was attractively presented and delicious! The dessert was a work of art and I was also presented with a surprise treat for my birthday. The staff seem to have been trained in serving etiquette. Our waitress, Gabbi, was very polite and efficient and a delight to converse with.

Unfortunately, we were waiting for someone to attend to us as we were in line for 15minutes just to be seated. For this type of establishment I expected more in terms of being greeted upon arrival. Staff were friendly still. Food was delicious otherwise.

The staff were superb, the food was delicious. The only downside was the view of the Panthers carpark. Other than that, it was an excellent night.
